Perry Kemp was a Vulcan football wide receiver and kick returner from 1980 through 1983. He finished his stellar career as the PSAC's most prolific receiver with 165 career receptions for 2,532 yards. His 1983 marks of 74 receptions and 1,101 receiving yards are still single-season school records.

The 1983 ECAC Player of the Year, Kemp also had a school-record 99-yard kickoff return as a senior, and helped the Vulcans record their first winning season in 13 years (7-3).

Immediately after his last collegiate season, Kemp enjoyed a productive professional football career in the USFL and National Football League, most notably with the Green Bay Packers. He ranks among the top 15 receivers in that team's long and fabled history. Kemp returned to Cal in the off-seasons and completed his undergraduate work while serving as the top statistician in the Cal Sports Information office.

Originally from Westland, PA, and a graduate of Fort cherry High School, Kemp now resides in Atlanta, Georgia, where he is a businessman.
