Cal receives accolades from USTFCCCA

NEW ORLEANS (Jan. 30) – The California (PA) women's cross country team garnered U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team accolades for the 15th-consecutive year on Thursday afternoon.

Additionally, senior Madeline Curtis and sophomore Rosalyn Perozzi were lauded with USTFCCCA All-Academic honors. Curtis received the honor for the fourth-straight year, while Perozzi earned the award for the first time in her collegiate career.

To be eligible for the individual recognition, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum 3.25 cumulative grade point average (GPA) and finish among the top 30 percent at the NCAA regional championships.

The Vulcans posted a 3.607 cumulative GPA through the Fall 2024 semester. To receive the team distinction, a program must attain a minimum 3.00 GPA and score at the NCAA regional championships.

The Cal men's and women's cross country teams both earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team laurels for the 15th-straight time.
