GREENSBORO, NC (July 22) – The California (PA) baseball program received the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award for the sixth-straight year on Wednesday morning.

To be eligible for the award, teams must hold a minimum cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher on a 4.00 scale for the 2025-26 academic year. The honor is available to all NCAA, NAIA, junior college and high school baseball programs. The ABCA recognized more than 500 collegiate programs from across the country this summer.

The Vulcans were one of six Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) teams recognized by the ABCA this year.
