CALIFORNIA (Feb. 16) – Due to warmer temperatures in the forecast, the California (PA) baseball program has adjusted its schedule for the season-opening series against Ohio Dominican at EQT Park in Washington, Pennsylvania.
The Vulcans and Panthers will still play a three-game series to open the 2026 campaign. The teams will now play a single nine-inning contest on Thursday, Feb. 19, at 2 p.m. followed by a doubleheader on Friday, Feb. 20 at 1 p.m. The series was originally scheduled for Feb. 21-22.
Cal was picked fourth in the preseason PSAC West poll, while ODU was voted to finish third in the preseason GMAC South poll. Both programs advanced to the championship of their respective conference tournaments last spring.
