California competes at WVU

West Virginia Results

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (May 3) – In their final preparation for the league championships, the Vulcans competed at the Stan Romanski Open hosted by West Virginia on Saturday.

STANDARDS
• Freshman Loreena Manser reached the conference standards in both the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash at WVU.
• Manser crossed the finish line with a time of 12.10 seconds in the 100 meters and posted a time of 24.36 seconds in the 200 meters.
• Sophomores Gabriella Fralin and Rosalyn Perozzi both reached the conference standard in the 800-meter run on Saturday.
• Fralin recorded a time of 2:17.58 at WVU and Perozzi qualified the for league meet after crossing the finish line in 2:18.62.

VICTORIES
• Manser won the 200 meters for the second time this spring, topping the field by nearly six-tenths of a second.
• She also earned the victory in the 100 meters by three-hundredths of a second.

NEXT
• The Vulcans return to action at the PSAC Championships in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, on May 8-10.
