SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. (May 10) – The California (PA) women's track & field team matched its highest finish in program history on Saturday by placing third in the standings at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships.
The Vulcans ranked third in the team standings with 82 points after scoring in 11 events over the weekend. Cal previously finished third at the conference meet in 2021 when it amassed the highest point total in program history. Host Slippery Rock cruised to its second league title in three years with 171 points after totaling nearly 120 points on Saturday. Millersville placed second in team standings with 97 points at the championships.

Alice Etienne and freshman
Loreena Manser both received All-PSAC laurels in individual events on Saturday, plus earned All-PSAC status as members of the 4x100-meter relay.

Alessandra Peccon and Etienne placed second in the finals with a time of 47.10 seconds – the third-best mark in program history. The Vulcans earned All-PSAC honors in the event for the first time since the 2021 campaign.
Etienne finished second in the triple jump while reaching the NCAA provisional standard for the first time this season. She posted a mark of 12.00 meters (39-4.5 feet) on her fifth attempt to record the second-best distance in school history. Etienne received All-PSAC accolades in the triple jump for the second time in 2025 and the fifth time in her career.
Manser placed second in the finals of the 200-meter dash on Saturday to earn All-PSAC status in the event for the second time this year. She set a season best with a wind-aided time of 24.15 seconds, just three-hundredths of a second behind the winner. Manser also placed fourth in the finals of the 100 meters with a time of 12.02 seconds. The Virginia native accounted for 21 points in three individual events (long jump) at the league championships.
Cal accounted for 12 points in the 1,500-meter run after three entries scored in the event. Senior
Madeline Curtis set a season-best time of 4 minutes, 44.26 seconds on Saturday to finish fourth in a field of 24 runners. Classmate
Madison Murtland placed fifth in the event with a personal record of 4:46.70 and sophomore
Rosalyn Perozzi also established a personal best of 4:46.73 to finish sixth overall.
Perozzi also scored in the finals of the 800-meter run at the PSAC Championships, placing eighth with a time of 2:27.65. Fellow sophomore
Gabriella Fralin finished fourth in the event with a time of 2:17.78 on Saturday.

Rebekah Priano posted a season-best time of 3:56.23 to finish fourth overall.
Freshman
Anna Schuessler scored in the pole vault after placing sixth in the event by clearing 3.52 meters (11-6.5) on her first attempt at the height. Senior
Jazzy Harper finished eighth in the triple jump on Saturday with a season-best distance of 11.25 meters (36-11.0 feet) on her last attempt. Tighe also scored in the finals of the 100 meters after crossing the finish line in seventh place with a time of 12.32 seconds.
The NCAA Championships are set for May 22-24 in Pueblo, Colorado. The Vulcans have reached NCAA provisional standards in four events this spring.
