GREENSBORGO, N.C. (April 19) – The California (PA) women's track & field team qualified four new entries for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships and reached conference standards in eight different events while competing at multiple meets over the weekend.
STANDARDS @ BENSON/HODGE MEMORIAL INVITATIONAL (ROBERT MORRIS)
• Sophomore
Gabriella Fralin and senior
Madison Murtland both reached the league mark in the 800-meter run.
• Fralin set a season best with a time of 2:17.08 and Murtland debuted in the event on Friday with a time of 2:19.51.
• Sophomore
Emily Mahle established a personal record and qualified for the league meet in the high jump by clearing 1.65 meters (5-5.0 feet).
• Senior
Iyana Campbell reached the conference standard in the 400-meter hurdles for the first time this spring with a time of 1:06.43.
• Freshman
Riley Tighe qualified for the league championships on Friday with a time of 25.47 seconds in the 200-meter dash.
• Sophomore
Rosalyn Perozzi posted a conference mark for the second time this season in the 1,500-meter run by rounding the track in 4:52.70.
• Freshman
Anna Schuessler won the pole vault for the second time this outdoor campaign and reached the league standard with a height of 3.46 meters (11-4.25 feet).
STANDARDS @ AGGIE INVITATIONAL (NORTH CAROLINA A&T STATE)
• Junior
Alice Etienne set a personal best in the triple jump with a distance of 11.77 meters (38-7.5 feet) over the weekend.
• Freshman
Loreena Manser reached conference standards in a pair of events in North Carolina.
• She posted a time of 12.19 seconds in the 100-meter dash and finished the 200 meters with a time of 24.60 seconds.
