CALIFORNIA (Feb. 21) – With snow and low temperatures in the forecast, the California (PA) baseball team has altered its season-opening weekend series versus Walsh (Ohio) set for Feb. 22-23.

The Vulcans and Cavaliers were set to start the spring with a doubleheader tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 22, and a single contest on Sunday, Feb. 23. However, Cal and Walsh are now set for a twinbill on Sunday at Mylan Park in Morgantown, W.Va., with play starting at 12 p.m. Additionally, the programs have rescheduled a single game for March 11 with the Vulcans serving as the home team.

Cal was originally set to begin the campaign last weekend with a three-game series versus Mansfield at Myland Park before rain forced schedule changes.

Additional information regarding schedule changes, including dates, times and venues will be posted on calvulcans.com when made available.
