Jing McCann shattered her own school record in the hammer throw while becoming the program's first women's thrower to earn All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) status in over 15 years on Friday during the opening day of the PSAC Outdoor Championships.
McCann placed third in the hammer throw with a heave of 51.51 meters (169.0 feet) on her third attempt.
