Kat Henderson reached the NCAA provisional standard while winning the heptathlon on Friday at the River Hawk Multi hosted by Susquehanna.
Henderson totaled a personal-best 4,576 points across seven events over two days. She won the heptathlon for the first time in her career while recording the highest point total in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) this spring. Henderson topped the field in the high jump by clearing a personal-best 1.63 meters (5-4.25 feet), which is tied for the fifth-best height in the league this year. The West Virginia native also reached the conference-qualifying standard and set a personal record in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.62 seconds while at Susquehanna. Henderson finished second in the shot put with a heave of 10.76 meters (35-3.75 feet) and placed third in the javelin throw with a distance of 29.43 meters (96-6.0 feet).

Tatum Hoffman and sophomore
Bethany Conant also competed in the heptathlon at Susquehanna. Hoffman finished seventh in the event with 4,021 points while setting personal best in three events and Conant also established three personal records as part of the heptathlon.
Cal returns to action this weekend by competing at the Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell on April 13-14 in Lewisburg Pennsylvania.
