STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (Feb. 23) – California (PA) senior Kailee Bunyard placed fifth in the finals of the 60-meter hurdles at the Fastrack Last Chance on Friday afternoon.

Bunyard posted a time of 9.01 seconds in the finals of the event that featured nearly 20 entries from across the country in the preliminaries. She advanced to the finals after placing sixth in the preliminaries with a time of 9.18 seconds while at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.

Earlier this week, Bunyard broke her own school record in the 60-meter hurdles with a NCAA provisional time of 8.84 seconds at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships.

The NCAA Championships will be held on March 8-9 in Pittsburgh, Kansas.
