CALIFORNIA (Nov. 19) – The California (PA) tandem of senior
Daniel Gargollo and junior
Brady Olsen were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team on Tuesday afternoon.
Gargollo started 15 games in his initial season with the program. He maintains a 3.73 grade-point average (GPA) while majoring in integrated business.
A native of Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania, Olsen appeared in 16 games with 12 starts and finished with six points on two goals and two assists. He holds a 3.80 GPA while majoring in marketing with a minor in finance.
To qualify for CSC Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a cumulative 3.50 GPA and have played in 90 percent of the team's games or start 66 percent of the team's games. Additionally, each institution is capped at six nominees in the sport of men's soccer.
