KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Aug. 1) – The California (PA) men's soccer team received the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the fourth time in five seasons on Friday afternoon.
To be eligible for the award, teams must hold a minimum cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher on a 4.00 scale for the 2024-25 academic year. The honor is available to all soccer programs at the high school and collegiate levels. United Soccer Coaches recognized a total of 736 college soccer programs with over 300 of them being men's programs.
The Vulcans were one of four Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) teams to garner the honor from the United Soccer Coaches this season. Men's Soccer finished the spring semester with a 3.22 cumulative GPA.
