SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. (Sept. 28) – Three different players scored a goal and sophomore
Brad Colvin (Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep) tallied two assists on Friday afternoon, as the Vulcans collected a 3-1 victory at Slippery Rock in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.
With the win, the California University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team improves to 4-5 this season with a 1-2 mark in league play. Meanwhile, Slippery Rock falls to 4-2-3 overall and 0-2 in conference action this year.

Christopher Karns (Mars, Pa./Mars) scored off another throw-in by Colvin, who posted the first multi-assist game of his career.
Following halftime, Slippery Rock was forced to continue with only 10 players after being issued a red card in the 59th minute. The Vulcans capitalized at the 72:31-mark when senior
Chris Moehler (Centreville, Va./Paul VI Catholic) tied his career high with his fourth goal of the season following a feed from senior
Ryan Slaby (Pittsburgh, Pa./Central Catholic). Moehler has recorded a goal in each of the last three games after being held scoreless since the season-opener.
Sophomore
Shane Donovan (Pipersville, Pa./Central Bucks East) totaled three saves in the victory, while The Rock's Clayton Master finished with four saves.
Cal U continues its conference road trip tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 29, when it travels to face Lock Haven at 4 p.m.
