CALIFORNIA (Sept. 19) – In their final non-conference action of the year, the Vulcans posted a 2-2 tie against West Virginia Wesleyan with all four goals scored in the first half on Saturday afternoon at the Phillipsburg Soccer Facility.
NOTES
• California (1-3-3) was playing WVWC for the first time since 2023 after the programs previously met in eight-consecutive seasons.
• The Bobcats took a 1-0 lead in the 11th minute before the Vulcans tied the score at the 23:02-mark on a goal by junior

• WVWC regained the lead less than three minutes later with a goal in the 27th minute, 2-1.
• The Vulcans again tied the score at the 36:25-mark on a goal by junior
Eduardo Miranda following a feed from Espinosa.
• WVWC finished the game with a 16-15 shot advantage after attempting 13 shots in the first half.
• The Bobcats held a 5-4 edge in corner kicks with the Vulcans collecting all four of their corners before the break.
