WASHINGTON (March 16) - Four different players posted multi-hit games on Monday, as the Vulcans cruised to a 15-2 nine-inning victory against Wheeling Jesuit University at CONSOL Energy Park.

The California University of Pennsylvania baseball team improves to 12-5 this season with a 3-0 mark at home.

Freshman starter Pat Gannon (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper Saint Clair) earned his first career win after throwing 7.0 innings with five strikeouts and two walks.

Sophomore Aaron Ordy (Butler, Pa./Butler) collected three singles, while both senior Shayne Busti (Crucible, Pa./Carmichaels) and freshman Troy Handza (Glenshaw, Pa./Shaler) each registered three RBI. The trio of Busti, junior Sam DiMatteo (Center, Pa./Center) and sophomore Chuck Faust (Hershey, Pa./Hershey) all posted two hits in the victory.

The Vulcans continue non-conference play with a road doubleheader against Salem International University on Wednesday, March 18.
