Miller was part of combined no-hitter in Game 2 of a doubleheader against Ohio Dominican on Thursday. He worked a total of 5.1 scoreless innings in a pair of appearances last week when California played five games in Florida. Miller retired one batter in relief on Tuesday against West Virginia Wesleyan before returning to the mound two days later. The Uniontown native recorded six strikeouts and issued three walks over 5.0 no-hit innings versus Ohio Dominican. Cal used a pair of relievers over the final two innings to complete the program’s first no-hitter since 2022 and first combined no-hitter in at least 22 years.
