Franklin set a personal record in the finals of the 60-meter hurdles at the SPIRE Midwest Open on Saturday. He placed fourth overall with a time of 8.46 seconds after finishing sixth in the preliminaries at 8.54 seconds while in Ohio. Franklin, who improved his personal best by 0.17 seconds, ranks fourth on the PSAC Performance List in the hurdles this season.
