Marks broke the school record and reached the NCAA qualifying standard in the long jump over the weekend at the Youngstown State Mid Major Invitational. He set the school record in the event with a distance of 7.16 meters (23-6.0 feet), which ranks fifth-best on the league’s performance list this season. Marks shattered the previous indoor school record in the long jump set last year at 6.92 meters (22-8.5 feet).
