McCann posts victory in hammer throw at WVU

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (May 9) – In her final collegiate event, California (PA) senior Jing McCann won the hammer throw on Saturday while competing at the West Virginia Last Chance.

McCann claimed the victory in the event with a distance of 46.91 meters (153-11.0 feet) on her second attempt. She also eclipsed 46.5 meters on each of her final two throws at Mylan Park.
