California competes at Baldwin Wallace

Results

BEREA, Ohio (May 8) – Select entries from the California (PA) women's track & field team competed at the Harrison Dillard Twilight Meet hosted by Baldwin Wallace (OH) on Friday.

Sophomore Loreena Manser cruised to the victory in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.27 seconds, winning the event by over six-tenths of a second. Classmate Brianna Lee registered a mark of 1.64 meters (5-4.5 feet) to finish third in the high jump.

Senior Alice Etienne competed in both the triple jump and long jump on Friday while in Ohio. She placed second in the triple jump by posting a distance of 11.40 meters (37-5.0 feet) and finished fifth in the long jump with a mark of 5.38 meters (17-.8.0 feet).

The Vulcans continue their weekend action tomorrow, Saturday, May 9 when they compete at the West Virginia Last Chance in Morgantown, West Virginia, with events starting at 10 a.m.
