BEREA, Ohio (May 8) – The Vulcans traveled to Ohio on Friday with select entries competing at the Harrison Dillard Twilight Meet hosted by Baldwin Wallace (OH).
Freshman
Ekoulus Lett placed second in the 400-meter hurdles after rounding the track in a season-best time of 54.42 seconds. Senior
Marlin Davis tied his season best in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.56 seconds during the preliminaries before placing second in the finals with a time of 10.598 seconds. He also posted a victory in the 200-meter dash by nearly one-tenth of a second with a time of 21.48 seconds.
Freshman
Bode Layo competed in both the long jump and high jump while in Ohio. He finished eighth in the long jump with a distance of 6.59 meters (21-7.5 feet) and cleared a height of 1.85 meters (6-0.75 feet) in the high jump.
Cal continue its weekend action tomorrow, Saturday, May 9, when it competes at the West Virginia Last Chance in Morgantown, West Virginia, with events starting at 10 a.m.
