SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. (May 2) – Senior
Bill Folmer received All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) status in the 800-meter run for the second time this year on Saturday, as the California (PA) men's track & field team finished seventh in the team standings on the final day of the league championships.
The Vulcans posted 39.5 points over the weekend after scoring in six events on Saturday. Shippensburg cruised to its 16th conference title in the last 17 years with a dominating 211.5 points. Slippery Rock placed second with 137.5 points and East Stroudsburg ranked third with 122 points.
Folmer placed third in the finals of the 800 meters after crossing the finish line in 1 minute, 52.53 seconds. He recorded the second-fastest time of his career on Saturday after finishing fifth in the preliminaries at 1:54.29 yesterday. Folmar earned All-PSAC honors in the 800 meters for the third time in his career, as he previously accomplished the feat at the 2024 outdoor and 2026 indoor championships.

Jonathan Thrush scored in the 5,000-meter run by finishing fifth with a time of 15:25.71. Sophomore
Scott Amin placed sixth in the triple jump on Saturday following a season-best distance of 14.52 meters (47-7.75 feet).
The Vulcans finished fifth in the 4x400-meter relay, as senior

Aidon Lett, Folmer and freshman
Nate Hoffman posted a time of 3:20.42. Individually, Davis scored in the finals of the 200-meter dash after crossing the finish line in 21.72 seconds. Lett and his twin brother
Ekoulus Lett both competed in the finals of the 400-meter hurdles.
Aidon Lett placed seventh in 56.59 seconds and
Ekoulus Lett finished eighth in 59.75 seconds.
