NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. (April 11) – Freshman
Abigail DeFruscio broke her own school record in the javelin throw and the 4x100-meter relay registered the fastest time in the league this season, as the California (PA) women's track & field team competed at three separate meets over the weekend.
@ WESTMINSTER
• At the Westminster Invitational, DeFruscio won the javelin throw with a distance of 38.11 meters (125-0.0 feet)
• She previously set the school record three weeks ago at the Early Bird Invitational with a mark of 37.91 meters (124-4.0 feet).
• The 4x100-meter relay of sophomore

Alessandra Peccon and sophomore
Riley Tighe posted a conference-best time of 47.37 seconds.
• Additionally, the 4x400-meter relay of senior
Kirsten Gross, Manser, Mercurius and junior
Rebekah Priano won the event with a time of 3 minutes, 55.89 seconds, which ranks as the third-fastest in the league this season.
• Individually, Tighe set a personal record in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.05 seconds and sits third on the conference performance list.
• She also reached the league standard in the 100-meter dash after crossing the finish line 12.24 seconds.

Jing McCann registered a conference-qualifying mark of 49.85 meters (163-6.0 feet) in the hammer throw.
• Sophomore
Camille Neutzling set a personal best in the 100-meter hurdles with a wind-aided time of 14.87 seconds.

• Junior
Rosalyn Perozzi shattered her personal best in the 5,00-meter run at the Bison Outdoor Classic with a time of 17:10.94, which ranks as the second-fastest in the PSAC this spring.
@ SUSQUEHANNA
• Freshman
Jaeda Dockman competed in the heptathlon for the first time in her career at the Susquehanna Outdoor Multi.
• She totaled 3,916 points while competing in seven events, winning the high jump with a height of 1.58 meters (5-2.25 feet).

• The Vulcans will again compete at split meets next week with the majority of entries set for the John Papa Invitational hosted by Slippery Rock on Thursday, April 16.
• Select entries will compete at the Aggie Invitational hosted by North Carolina A&T State in Greensboro, North Carolina.
