LEWISBURG, Pa. (April 11) – The Vulcans reached nine Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship-qualifying marks while competing at three separate events over the weekend.
@ BUCKNELL –
Results
• A trio of entries reached the PSAC standard in the 800-meter run while competing at Bison Outdoor Classic.
• Senior
Bill Folmer set a season best in the event with a time of 1 minute, 52.56 seconds, which ranks second on the league performance list.
• Freshmen
Garret Minnick and
Jacob McGhee also posted qualifying times in the 800 meters for the first time this year at Bucknell.
• Minnick crossed the finish line in 1:55.33 and McGhee recorded a time of 1:55.52.
• Senior
Jonathan Thrush qualified for the league championships in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 30:03.65 in his first appearance in the event this spring.
@ WESTMINSTER –
Results
• Freshman
Ekoulus Lett won the 110-meter hurdles at the Westminster Invitational and qualified for the PSAC Championships in the event with a time of 14.93 seconds.
• Twin brother
Aidon Lett also reached the league standard in both the 110-meter hurdles and 400-meter hurdles.
• He posted a time of 15.19 seconds in the 110 hurdles and 56.37 seconds in the 400 hurdles.
• Freshman
Scott Amin earned the victory in the triple with a season-best mark of 14.04 meters (46-0.75 feet), which cleared the conference standard.
• Fellow freshman
Bode Layo reached the league mark in the high jump for the first time this spring with a height of 1.96 meters (6-5.0 feet).
@ SUSQUEHANNA –
Results
• Freshman
Nate Hoffman competed in the decathlon for the first time in his career at the Susquehanna Outdoor Multi.
• He placed second overall with 5,958 points across the 10 events.
• He won three track events as part of the decathlon (1,500-meter run, 400-meter dash, 100-meter dash) and finished second in two additional events (110-meter hurdles, high jump).

• The Vulcans will again compete at split meets next week with the majority of entries set for the John Papa Invitational hosted by Slippery Rock on Thursday, April 16.
• Select entries will compete at the Aggie Invitational hosted by North Carolina A&T State in Greensboro, North Carolina.
