Loreena Manser set the second-fastest all-time mark in conference history in the 200-meter dash at Penn State, while senior
Jing McCann broke her own school record in the weight throw in Ohio on Friday.
PENN STATE TUNE-UP
• Manser posted a blistering time of 24.35 seconds in the 200 meters to finish second overall behind an unattached entry.
• Her time ranks second only to the all-time league record of 23.49 seconds set by former California two-time National Champion Divonne Franklin.
• Manser owns the fastest time in the league this winter in the event by more than seven-tenths of a second.
• Junior
Gabriella Fralin recorded a season-best time of 2:22.38 in the 800-meter run.
• Freshman
Amanda Mercurius also reached the PSAC-qualifying standard in the 200 meters with a time of 25.64 seconds.

• McCann eclipsed her own school record in the weight throw with a heave of 15.22 meters (49-11.25 feet).
• She broke her previous mark of 14.97 meters (49-1.5 feet) set last month at the SPIRE Midwest Open.
• Junior
Emily Mahle qualified for the conference championships in the high jump after clearing a season-best height of 1.58 meters (5-2.25 feet) on her third attempt.
• Senior
Madison Murtland reached the league standard in the 1-mile run with a time of 5:16.25 while competing in Ohio.
