Alice Etienne broke her own school record in the triple jump and was one of four entries to reach NCAA provisional standards over the weekend at the Indoor Pre-Nationals hosted by Norfolk State.
NCAA STANDARDS/RECORD
• Etienne reached the NCAA mark in the triple jump for the third time this season.
• She finished third in the field with a mark 12.09 meters (39-8.0 feet) on her sixth and final attempt.
• Etienne previously set the school record of 11.99 meters (39-4.0 feet) at the 2024 PSAC Championships.
• The 5-foot-5 senior ranks second on the PSAC Performance List in the event this year.
• Sophomore
Brianna Lee cleared the NCAA standard in the high jump for the first time this year.
• She placed third in the event with a height of 1.72 meters (5-7.75 feet) on her third attempt.
• Fellow sophomore
Loreena Manser reached NCAA qualifying marks in both the 200-meter dash and the long jump while competing in her native Virginia.
• She finished second in the long jump with a distance of 5.97 meters (19-7.0 feet) and posted a time of 24.57 seconds in the 200 meters.
PSAC STANDARDS
• Junior
Rosalyn Perozzi placed second in the 5,000-meter run and qualified for the league championships with a time of 18:40.14.
• The distance medley relay of senior
Madison Murtland, junior
Gabriella Fralin, junior
Rebekah Priano and Perozzi finished third with a season-best time of 12:53.62.
• Sophomore
Camille Neutzling recorded a season-best time of 9.45 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles.
• Manser and fellow sophomore
Riley Tighe both reached the league standard in the 60-meter dash over the weekend.
• Manser posted a time of 7.68 seconds and Tighe finished in 7.83 seconds.
• Freshman
Amanda Mercurius finished the 200 meters with a time of 25.63 seconds in Virginia.
• Etienne also reached conference mark in the long jump with a distance of 5.43 meters (17-9.75 feet).

• The Vulcans return to action on Friday, Feb. 20, with entries split between the Penn State Tune-Up in University Park, Pennsylvania, and Muskie Meet #4 hosted by Muskingum in New Concord, Ohio.
