VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Feb. 14) – The Vulcans competed at the Indoor Pre-Nationals hosted by Norfolk State over the weekend with three entries reaching PSAC qualifying standards.
PSAC STANDARDS
• Senior
Bill Folmer set a season-best time in the 800-meter run and placed fourth after crossing the finish line in 1:52.92.
• Sophomore
Scott Amin reached the league standard in the triple jump after clearing 14.13 meters (46-4.25 feet) on his first attempt.
• Fellow sophomore
Jack Ozimek posted a mark of 6.94 meters (22.9-25 feet) on his second attempt in the long jump.
NEXT
• California returns to action on Friday, Feb. 20, with entries split between the Penn State Tune-Up in University Park, Pennsylvania, and Muskie Meet #4 hosted by Muskingum in New Concord, Ohio.
