Cole Villa was tabbed to the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Second-Team on Wednesday afternoon.
Villa set a career best with a scoring average of 76.1 strokes while playing nine events this season. He carded a team-best finish three times – all during the spring campaign – while finishing among the top 15 in the field at five tournaments. Villa fired a career-low round of 70 during the second round of the Sunnehanna Collegiate hosted by Pitt-Johnstown in the fall. The 5-foot-10 senior closed his college career by tying for 14th overall with a nine-over 225 (75-76-74) at the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional Championships earlier this month.
A native of Leechburg, Pennsylvania, Villa finished his career with a scoring average of 76.8 strokes over 67 rounds. He posted a top-20 finish at 12 different events over the last four years.
The Vulcans have featured at least one golfer on the All-PSAC Teams 11 times in the last 12 seasons.
