LOCK HAVEN, Pa. (May 16) – California (PA) junior
Teddi Isherwood earned All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West status in both singles and doubles, along with classmate
Leandra Guldimann, on Friday afternoon.
Isherwood and Gulidmann became the program's first All-PSAC West honorees since 2016. The duo helped the Vulcans return to the PSAC Tournament for the first time in nearly a decade while posting a 14-7 overall record, the winningest season in nine years.
A Butler product, Isherwood received All-PSAC West First-Team accolades in singles following her first year with the program. She finished the season with a 14-9 mark in singles with 11 victories in dual play, all at the first position. Isherwood tied for second on the team in singles wins while boasting a 4-1 mark in league play, highlighted by the program's first victory at first singles against IUP in a decade.
Isherwood and Guldimann earned All-PSAC West Second-Team honors in doubles on Friday. The tandem combined for a 15-8 mark this season with 11 wins in dual matches. The 15 wins are the most by a doubles team since the 2015-16 season. Isherwood collected All-PSAC West laurels in doubles for the second time in her career, as she received first-team status in 2023 while a sophomore at Slippery Rock.
