Sofia Rodriguez collected the team's lone win on Wednesday afternoon, as the Vulcans suffered a 6-1 loss at No. 28 Slippery Rock on Wednesday evening in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play.

• California (12-10, 3-2) has already secured the third seed from the division in next week's PSAC Tournament.
• The Rock has won 10-straight matches in the series with the Vulcans.
• Slippery Rock clinched the doubles point after sweeping all three matches in the session.

Leandra Guldimann and Rodriguez fell by a 6-3 margin to a nationally-ranked tandem at the first slot.
• Rodriguez become the first singles player to win a match against Slippery Rock since 2017.
• She tallied a 6-2, 6-4 victory at the sixth position on Wednesday, her ninth singles win since joining the program in the spring semester.

Diletta Maria Mungo suffered a 6-2, 6-4 loss at second singles against a nationally-ranked opponent.
