Noah Bernarding and junior
Marlin Davis both won individual events on Saturday, as the Vulcans competed at the Dave Labor Invitational hosted by Slippery Rock.
VICTORIES
• Davis posted the fastest time in both the preliminaries and finals of the 100-meter dash.
• He won the finals of the event by eight-hundredths of a second.
• The field featured the indoor league champion in the 200-meter dash from host Slippery Rock.
• Bernarding won the 800-meter run for the third-consecutive week, earning the victory by over one full second on Saturday.
PSAC STANDARDS
• Davis registered the third-best time in the league this spring during the finals of the 100 meters.
• He posted a time of 10.52 seconds in the finals after crossing the finish line 10.55 seconds during the preliminaries.
• Davis was just one-hundredth of a second shy of tying the school record in the event set in 2019.
• Bernarding established a season-best time in the 800 meters after rounding the track in 1:52.15, which is second-best in the PSAC this spring.
• Senior
Logan Pfister reached the conference standard in the high jump for a consecutive week.
• He placed fourth in the event after clearing 2.00 meters (6-6.75 feet) on his final attempt at the height.

• Cal will compete at both the River Hawk Multi hosted by Susquehanna and the Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell next weekend.
