TIFFIN, Ohio (Oct. 7) – In their final preparation for the league championships, the Vulcans placed seventh in the team standings on Tuesday at the Kyle Ryman Memorial hosted by Tiffin.
TEAM NOTES
• The California (PA) men's golf team shot a 27-over 891 (299-291-301) while playing at Mohawk Golf Country Club.
• The host Dragons won the invitational title by two strokes with a seven-under 857 (290-279-288).
• IUP placed second in the team standings with a five-under 859 (282-276-301), while Pitt-Johnstown finished third at one-over 865 (288-288-289).
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• Junior Chaz Eknoiak led the team and tied for 13th overall with an even-par 216 (72-69-75).
• He ranked among the top five in a field of 75 golfers with 36 pars over the three rounds, plus fired 10 birdies while in Ohio.
• Tiffin junior Winston Brown captured medalist honors by four strokes with an eight-under 208 (71-68-69).

• The Vulcans close out the fall season when they compete at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships on Oct. 17-19 at Iron Valley Golf Club in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
