NEW CONCORD, Ohio (Oct. 4) – Senior
Jonathan Thrush captured the individual title for the second time this year on Saturday morning, as the Vulcans placed second in the team standings at the Daniel Mullen Memorial Invitational hosted by Muskingum.
TEAM NOTES
• The California (PA) men's cross country team placed second in the team standings at the seven-team event with 61 points.
• Case Western Reserve (OH) earned the invitational title with 28 points after boasting five runners in the top-eight overall.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• Thrush crossed the finish line after the eight-kilometer race with a time of 27:23.2, topping the field by over 23 seconds.
• He has now earned an individual victory six times in his cross country career.

Jordan Wiedman added a top-10 finish in Ohio, placing 10th overall with a time of 28:44.0.

• The Vulcans return to action on Saturday, Oct. 11, when they compete at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational in Clinton, Pennsylvania.
