NEW ORLEANS (Nov. 10) – California (PA) senior
Jonathan Thrush earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) all-region accolades for the fourth time in his cross country career on Monday afternoon.
Thrush received all-region laurels from the organization for the eighth time overall in his collegiate career. He will compete at the NCAA National Championships for the third time in four years after being awarded an at-large individual qualifier. Thrush finished in eighth place at the NCAA Regional Championships on Saturday with a time of 31 minutes, 2.30 seconds. The 5-foot-10 senior was the team's top runner in all six races this fall, highlighted by a third-place finish at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships last month.
The USTFCCCA recognized the top-25 finishers from each of the eight regional sites from across the country.
