NEW ORLEANS (Jan. 30) – The California (PA) men's cross country team earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team honors for the 17th-straight season on Thursday afternoon.

Jon Berzonsky, junior
George Boutiller, and sophomore
Jordan Wiedman earned USTFCCCA All-Academic accolades. Bernarding garnered the laurel third time in his cross country career, while the others collected the honor for the first time in their collegiate careers.
To be eligible for the individual recognition, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum 3.25 cumulative grade point average (GPA) and finish among the top 30 percent at the NCAA regional championships.
The Vulcans attained a 3.084 cumulative GPA through the Fall 2024 semester. To earn the team distinction, a program must hold a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA and score at the NCAA regional championships.
The Cal men's and women's cross country teams both garnered USTFCCCA All-Academic Team laurels for the 15th-straight season.
