Jonathan Thrush claimed his fourth career individual title, as the California (PA) men's cross country team placed second in the team standings at the Blazer Blitz hosted by Hood (Md.) on Saturday morning.
NOTES
• The Vulcans finished with a team score of 30 points behind four top-10 runners.
• McDaniel (Md.) earned the invitational title after totaling 28 points at the event.
• Thrush earned the victory on Saturday by 12.5 seconds with a time of 12:09.4.
• He captured his first individual win since last September at the Osprey Open hosted by Stockton (N.J.).
• Senior 
Noah Bernarding placed second overall after crossing the finish line in 12:21.9.
• Senior 
Kohen Stover posted a time of 13:08.1 to finish in seventh place and junior 
Kolby Kent was ninth overall on Saturday with a time of 13:15.6.

• Cal is idle for three weeks before competing at the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh on Oct. 5 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
