CALIFORNIA (May 23) – California (PA) senior
Beyoncé Kelly will be competing in the high jump at the 2024 NCAA Championships on Saturday, May 25, in Emporia, Kansas, at Francis G. Welch Stadium.
Kelly will be competing at the NCAA Championships for the sixth time in her career and enters the weekend as a four-time All-American. She is tied for No. 12 on the national performance list this spring with a mark of 1.73 meters (5-8.0 feet) set two weeks ago in North Carolina. Kelly also won her fourth-straight title in the high jump at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships earlier this month.
A native of Maryland, Kelly is one of 21 entries in the field that features three former National Champions, including top-seeded Erica Schamel of Pittsburg State (Kan.) who captured the indoor title in March. The high jump is scheduled to start in Kansas on Saturday at 2:45 p.m. EST.
