MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. (May 11) – Junior Jing McCann and senior Kat Henderson both competed in individual events at the Final Qualifier hosted by Mount Olive on Saturday.

McCann posted a distance of 50.37 meters (165-3.0 feet) in the hammer throw while competing in her final meet of the year. She broke her school record in the event yesterday while in North Carolina after earning All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) honors for the first time in her career last week.

Henderson cleared a height of 1.61 meters (5-3.25 feet) in the high jump on Saturday, marking her second-best mark this spring.

The NCAA Championships are set for May 23-25 in Emporia, Kansas.
