WASHINGTON, Pa. (March 26) – The California (PA) men's golf team placed third in the standings on Tuesday while hosting the Vulcan Fire Classic at Lone Pine Country Club.

TEAM NOTES
• Cal finished third in the team standings after shooting a 27-over 603 (300-303) at the par-72 course.
• Millersville earned the invitational title by seven strokes with a 19-over 595 (305-290) behind a trio of top-10 golfers.
• Pitt-Johnstown placed second at the event with a 26-over 602 (298-304) while at Lone Pine.
• The field consisted of nine teams, including eight PSAC members.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• Senior Reese Watson finished second on the individual leader board after carding a two-over 146 (75-71).
• Classmate Brandon Singer also registered a top-10 finish with a six-over 150 (75-75) to place ninth overall.
• Playing as individuals, seniors Aidan Bushey and Mason Takacs both shot a seven-over 151 to tie for 10th place.
• Millersville senior Boby Lugiano claimed medalist laurels by three strokes after firing a one-under 143 (73-70).

• Cal returns to the links on April 1-2 when it competes at the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational hosted by West Chester at the Penn Oaks Golf Club.
