Noah Bernarding posted a top-25 finish on Saturday afternoon while the Vulcans competed in the Brown Race at the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh.
NOTES
• California finished 31st in the team standings with 846 points while competing against entries from both NCAA Division I and II programs.
• Bernarding crossed the finish line with a time of 25:20.9 to place 23rd overall in a field of over 310 entries.
• Davis & Elkins captured the invitational title with 79 points behind three of top-10 overall times.
• Kent State senior Baidy Ba won the eight-kilometer race by nearly 10 seconds with a time of 24:22.8.

• The Vulcans return to action on Saturday, Oct. 12, when they compete at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at 10 a.m.
