Muskingum Meet Results
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (Feb. 17) – Sophomore
Logan Pfister (Fishertown, Pa./Chestnut Ridge) and junior
Noah Bernarding (Cochranton, Pa./Cochranton) both set indoor school records on Friday, as the Vulcans competed at the both the Penn State Tune Up and Muskingum Meet.
Pfister broke the school mark in the high jump, plus reached the NCAA provisional standard for the first time this season. He won the event at Penn State with a height of 2.10 meters (6-10.7.5), clearing the mark on his final attempt at the height. Pfister previously shared the school record in the high jump with Aaron Morgan at the height of 2.05 meters (6-8.75 feet). The Chestnut Ridge product, who won the indoor league title in the event last year, is one of two entries in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) to clear the NCAA standard in the event this winter.
Bernarding eclipsed the school record in the 800-meter run while at Penn State. He crossed the finish line in 1 minute, 52.94 seconds to break the mark set by Morgan Huegel in 2016 by over three-tenths of a second. Bernarding finished seventh overall in the event behind a trio of Nittany Lions and a pair of unattached entries. The 5-foot-10 junior sits third on the league's performance list in the 800 meters after earning All-PSAC Second-Team honors in cross country for the third time this fall.

Marks ranks fifth on the conference performance list in the long jump this year after reaching the NCAA standard in the event last month.
