LOCK HAVEN, Pa. (June 1) – California University of Pennsylvania sophomore
Tyler Kipp (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) was selected to the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) First-Team on Wednesday afternoon.
Kipp earned All-PSAC laurels for the first time in his career after being tabbed the 2021 PSAC Freshman of the Year. He set a career best with a team-leading scoring average of 74.2 strokes while playing in all 10 events this year. Kipp carded nine rounds at 72 or better this season, highlighted by a low round of four-under 67. The Reading native posted a team-best score eight times with four top-10 finishes.
A 6-foot-1 sophomore, Kipp competed at the NCAA Atlantic/East Region Championships for a consecutive year after being an individual qualifier for the event in 2021. He previously was tabbed to the PING all-region team for the first time in his career last month.
The Vulcans have boasted an All-PSAC First-Team honoree four times in the last five years.
