CALIFORNIA (March 6) – The California University of Pennsylvania women's basketball team will face Gannon in the finals of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Tournament in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, on Sunday, March 6, at 3 p.m.

TICKETS
Kutztown is selling tickets for the PSAC Tournament at the cost of $10 for adults, $5 for students and PSAC students with valid ID are admitted for free. Spectators are able to purchase tickets in advance for Sunday at the link provided below.

The Kutztown Sports Information Office will provide live statistics for the game at the link above. Live updates will also be available throughout the game on Twitter. There also will be live audio via WCAL of the championship game, while KUTV will produce a webstream of the finals.

STORYLINES
• Last Time Out: Cal U dominated Shepherd on Saturday afternoon with a 78-49 victory in the semifinals of the PSAC Tournament. Junior Ciaira Loyd recorded a season-high 25 points and added seven assists, while classmates Shauna Harrison and Dejah Terrell both registered double-doubles.
• The Vulcans enter the contest having won 10-straight games and have held both their opponents in the conference tournament to under 50 points.
• Cal U is making its 16th appearance in the finals of the PSAC Tournament and holds a 6-9 record in championship games.

PSAC TOURNAMENT
• The top-seeded Vulcans will face the No.2 seed Gannon in the PSAC Championship on Sunday afternoon.
• Kutztown was the highest remaining seed in the PSAC East and secured hosting rights for the semifinals and championship this weekend.

SCOUTING THE VULCANS
• The PSAC West Coach of the Year, head coach Jess Strom leads Cal U to the finals of the conference tournament for the fourth time in her career. She enters Sunday with 236 career wins and a 2-1 record in the PSAC Championship..
• PSAC West First-Team honoree Ciaira Loyd is leading the Vulcans this post-season with 20.8 points per game and 7.0 assists per game while shooting 60.8 percent from the field.
• The Vulcans pace the conference and rank third in the country in scoring defense, holding opponents to 51.4 points per game. Cal U has forced over 40 combined turnovers in the past two games, leading the PSAC with over 22 turnovers forced per game.

SCOUTING THE LADY KNIGHTS
• In his 14th year as head coach, Cleve Wright enters as the winningest coach in Gannon history with a 294-113 overall record.
• Gannon features two All-PSAC West honorees as sophomore Samantha Pirosko earned First-Team status and senior Sydney Mitchell was tabbed to the Second-Team. Pirosko ranks fourth in the conference with a .526 field-goal percentage and paces the league with a .911 free-throw percentage - fourth-best in the country.
• The Lady Knights lead the PSAC at 15.1 assists per game while ranking third in the conference in scoring offense at 67.3 points per game. Gannon sits seventh in the conference in scoring defense at 58.6 points per game, while averaging over eight steals a game.
 
SERIES
• The Vulcans hold a 17-16 advantage in the series since the Lady Knights joined the PSAC in the 2008-09 season. The teams split the regular-season series this year with both visiting teams earning the win.
• Cal U is appearing in the conference finals for the fourth time since 2015. The programs will be meeting in the PSAC Championship for the first time since 2010 when Gannon captured a 77-68 victory.
