Cal U announces weekend schedule changes

CALIFORNIA (March 31) – The California University of Pennsylvania baseball team announced upcoming schedule changes on Friday morning regarding its Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West series against both Slippery Rock and Gannon.

The Vulcans were slated to open its four-game series with The Rock tomorrow, Friday, April 1 with a road doubleheader. However, the twinbill has been shifted to Sunday, April 3, at Jack Critchfield Park in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, starting at 1 p.m. Cal U will now begin its series with Slippery Rock on Saturday, April 2, in Washington, Pennsylvania, at Wild Things Park with play starting at 1 p.m.

Additionally, the Vulcans have rescheduled their road doubleheader in the series with Gannon for Monday, April 4. Cal U will play at McConnnell Family Stadium in Erie, Pennsylvania, beginning at 1 p.m. The Vulcans and Golden Knights split the initial twinbill in the series last weekend.

Cal U is now set to play a total of seven games in a span of five days from April 2-6.
