CALIFORNIA (Feb. 25) – The California University of Pennsylvania women's basketball team will face Slippery Rock in the first round of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Tournament at the Convocation Center tomorrow, Monday, Feb. 26.

TICKETS
Cal U is selling tickets for the PSAC Tournament at the cost of $10 for adults, $5 for students and PSAC students with valid ID are admitted for free.

The Cal U Sports Information Office will prove live statistics for the game at the link above. Live updates will also be available throughout the game on both Twitter and Instagram. There also will be live video via CUTV and live audio via WCAL of the post-season contest.

STORYLINES
• Last Time Out: Cal U closed the regular season with a 73-50 victory over Clarion on Saturday while hosting Senior Day.
• The Vulcans have won all 14 games at home this season while posting a combined 9-5 mark in road and neutral games.
• The winner of the contest will travel to face second-seeded Edinboro in the quarterfinals of the PSAC Tournament on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 7 p.m.

ABOUT THE VULCANS
• In her seventh season as head coach, Jess Strom enters with a 164-44 career record behind a 113-31 mark in PSAC play and a 10-4 record in the PSAC Tournament.
• Senior Shatara Parsons scored at least 30 points in each of the last two games and ranks second in the PSAC in scoring this season at 21.6 points per game.
• Cal U leads the PSAC with 13.8 steals per game and paces the league with a plus-7.96 turnover margin while forcing nearly 24 turnovers per game.

ABOUT THE ROCK
• In his fourth season as head coach, Bobby McGraw enters with a 45-65 career record and has guided the program to a pair of appearances in the PSAC Tournament after Slippery Rock hadn't made the league tournament since 2006.
• Junior Morgan Henderson has recorded a pair of double-doubles over the last two weeks, averaging 13.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game during that span.
• The Rock hasn't won since Feb. 10 and has lost eight of its last 10 games, including seven losses to teams in the PSAC Tournament.

ABOUT THE SERIES
• The Vulcans hold a 55-25 advantage in the all-time series and have won 33-consecutive meetings against The Rock dating back to the 2001-02 season.
• The two programs last met in the PSAC Tournament during the 2005-06 campaign with Cal U claiming a 52-39 victory in the quarterfinals.
