CALIFORNIA (Sept. 2) – Junior outside hitter
Joanna Nist (Rockwood, Pa./Rockwood) collected a double-double as the California University of Pennsylvania volleyball team swept Clarion, 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-13), on Tuesday night at Hamer Hall in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC)-opener for both teams.
With the win, the Vulcans improve to 5-0 overall this season, while the Golden Eagles suffered their first loss of the 2008 campaign and fall to 4-1.

Cal returns to action this weekend at the two-day, seven-team TownePlace Suites Classic hosted by the University of Findlay (Ohio). The Vulcans begin play at the tournament on Friday, Sept. 5, against Hillsdale College (Mich.) and the host Oilers.
