COLUMBIA, Md. (March 29) – The California (PA) flag football team posted a 3-1 record over the weekend while competing at the National Collegiate Flag Football League Maryland Regional hosted by Howard Community College.
The Vulcans opened play on Saturday with a pair of victories. Cal earned a 25-6 victory over Bryant & Stratton-Albany (NY) before claiming a 25-0 win over Howard Community College for the initial shutout in program history. On Sunday, the Vulcans registered a 6-0 overtime win against State Island (NY) before suffering a 7-0 loss versus Bryant & Stratton-Albany.
Cal returns to action on Friday, April 3, when it travels to face Mercyhurst in Erie, Pennsylvania, at 2 p.m.
