NEW ORLEANS (July 21) – The California (PA) men's track & field team received U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team honors for the seventh-consecutive season on Monday afternoon.
Additionally, senior
Noah Bernarding earned individual USTFCCCA All-Academic accolades for a third-straight track & field season and the sixth time overall in his college career.
To qualify for the individual All-Academic award, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.25 or higher and must have finished among the top 50 individuals in an event on the descending orders list on TFRRS.
The Vulcans were one of nearly 120 programs recognized by the USTFCCCA as an All-Academic Team. In order to receive All-Academic Team status, a program must obtain a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or higher.
