CALIFORNIA (May 6) – The California (PA) men's golf team will compete at the 2025 NCAA Atlantic/East Regional Championships hosted by Gannon from May 8-10 at Whispering Woods Golf Club.
At a minimum, the top-three teams and the top-two golfers not with a team from each regional will advance to the NCAA National Championships to be held at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, from May 19-23.
The Vulcans were one of seven teams from the Atlantic Region to receive an at-large berth to the championship event. Cal has earned a team qualifier to the event 14 times since 2009, plus featured an individual qualifier twice during that span.
Gannon, which is the second seed from the Atlantic Region, will serve as host for the regional championships after winning the regional crown last spring. The event features 20 team qualifiers with five automatic-qualifiers awarded to conference champions, plus an additional eight individual qualifiers.
Cal previously played at Whispering Woods Golf Course twice this season, including last month when it competed in a field of 23 teams.

Gavin Goodrich (#3), sophomore
Anthony DePietress (#4) and freshman
Nixen Erdely (#5) with senior
Jack Hritsko as an alternate.
The Vulcans begin play at the championships on Thursday, May 8, with tee times starting at 7:30 a.m.
